AMI Marine (UK) Ltd, formerly know as AMI-GFV, is a UK based company that develops, designs and manufactures marine electronic interfacing, retransmission and bespoke navigation products. We also manufacture a highly successful Voyage Data Recorder (VDR).
Nearly two decades ago AMI Marine identified a need to bring the World of marine interfaces up to date. AMI were the first to introduce solid state electronic solutions into a market that was predominately electro-mechanical. Since then AMI has established a reputation for innovation and quality second to none.
AMI Marine’s worldwide network of service engineers is managed from their new purpose built headquarters in Southampton where AMI design and develop new products.
Quality
AMI Marine is approved to ISO 9001:2000 and endeavour to operate beyond this standard. All of our products have been tested to the appropriate standards and where no standard exists to an AMI derived standard.
AMI’s flagship products, SMIDS and VDR, have both been tested and approved to the prestigious Wheelmark standard.
Service Network
Managed from the headquarters in Southampton, AMI has a worldwide network of service engineers trained to the highest level, capable of installing and servicing, any of AMI’s vast range of products.
