KW991-HR – Heading Repeater

The KW991-HR can be supplied in two forms.
1. Off Course Alarm – OCA
2. Compass Comparator – CCA

The OCA version allows the operator to set an off course variation limit. If the ships heading strays outside the set limit a visual alarm is displayed.

The CCA version accepts two heading inputs. For example one gyro and one mag compass. If the secondary heading input (i.e. magnetic) strays outside the preset limit a visual alarm is displayed.

All the 360:1 synchro, standard stepper signal and NMEA 0183 heading data is recognised by the KW991-HR.
