KW948 – 48 Steps Per Degree Retransmission Interface

Certain older gyro systems use a 48 step per degree protocol, such as CPlath and Anschutz. These gyros are few and far between these days and finding a replacement is now nearly impossible.

The KW948 negates the necessity to replace the complete repeater system by taking a standard NMEA 0183 heading string and converting it into the 48 step per degree signal required.

Follow up rate is selectable between 5 and 10 degrees per second.
