KW930-DD – Expandable Data Distribution Interface

The KW930-DD will accept ASCII and NMEA data streams from 2400 to 19200 baud and distribute it via a buffer amplifier to a user defined number of outputs.

Each KW930-DD board is expandable by direct connection to a second board and then a third, fourth and so on.

The first board will have 4x Outputs
The second uses the 4th output of the first board as its input.
Therefore the options are 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 19, etc.

For example:
One board will give 4 outputs
Two boards will give 7 outputs

Each additional board is powered directly from the previous.

Each output has an LED indication that will flash in time with the input LED.
There is also a power status LED to show that the unit is on should no data be present at the input.
